Our original wall lights work beautifully for bedside lighting. To ensure your wall lights throw enough light for reading, it is best to position the base of the light at 1200mm-1300mm up from the floor and in line with the edge of the bed. We also suggest having your electrician wire in a dimmer switch, so that you can choose between reading or ambient lighting.
DUO WALL LIGHT COLLECTION
Our new Duo Collection works beautifully as bedside lighting, and additionally for activities such as night time reading. We have found that the best install position is in line with the edge of your bedside table, and at the same height your head reaches when sitting in bed. This positioning gives the perfect amount of soft light for reading. The ceramic disc is also able to rotate so that you may direct the light to suit your preference. Please see the below diagrams for an idea of the light dispersion of our Puddle wall lights.We also suggest having your electrician wire in a dimmer switch, so that you can choose between task or ambient lighting.
Yes you can, our wall lights come with an aluminium back plate which are powder coated to protect against corrosion.
The light fitting has been designed so the GU10 Globe does point downwards, however, our interior ceramics do have an open top so there is a soft upwards glow also. Please feel free to email hello@weponder.com.au to receive a reference image.
Yes, your qualified electrician can connect your light fitting to a dimmer switch, just make sure you purchase a GU10 240V dimmable globe.
Yes they are compatible with any smart systems. Just let your electrician know our wall lights are a GU10 240V LED lamp holder, and they will know how to install.
The answer is yes! There are certain zones within a bathroom where you don't require an IPX4 rating. One of the best and most popular locations is beside your vanity mirror which is definitely the most perfect position for our wall lights. As long as they are installed by a licensed electrician no lower than 400mm above your vanity bench top and 600mm away from a closed shower, you are good to go!

Each wall light comes with a back plate / light fitting, that needs to be installed by a qualified electrician. You will need to purchase a GU10 240V, LED Globe, 5-10W. You will also need to purchase 4 x 6g screws appropriate for your substrate.
If you are ordering more than one wall light and intend to install your lights near or next to each other, please rest assured that we will do our absolute best to ensure you receive a uniformed collection of lights from the same batch. Please remember though, due to the lights being made by hand, it is impossible for your lights to be 100% matching.
Our ceramic wall light and back plate fitting have been through a vigorous design process to ensure they sit perfectly straight on your walls. The custom designed back plate has been meticulously designed which allows the installer to slightly adjust the angle of the wall light after it has been fixed to the wall.
You can install your wall lights to solid surfaces. We recommend your wall lights are only installed by a qualified electrician. The wiring for your wall lights, if not already present, will need to be installed during the construction of your project and set at the height you desire to hang your wall light. Please refer to our installation instructions found in our footer for further details.
We Ponder must be notified via email hello@weponder.com.au within 24hrs of receiving. Please take photographs of your damaged item clearly showing where the damage is present. We also require a photo showing the damaged item with the delivery box clearly showing the delivery label. Once we receive your email we will be in touch to let you know if we agree that there are clear indications of rough handling during transit and will do our very best to issue a replacement light as soon as possible.
Your product will arrive packaged carefully with Eco-friendly infill to ensure it arrives undamaged. You will receive a QR code that will link you to our recommended installation instructions. Care must be taken when unpacking to ensure the light fitting and ceramic does not get damaged.
We have worked extremely hard to ensure we have a very small carbon footprint. Your wall lights will arrive in a double layer cardboard box using biodegradable void fill beans (dissolvable in water) and recycled packing paper to insulate your fragile lights. Once you open the interior box you will find your ceramic wall lights carefully wrapped in hexcel FSC brown paper using no tape. We suggest using this packaging to re-wrap a special gift.
Use eco-friendly spray and wipe and/ or a microfibre cloth to remove fingerprints and dust.
For your Nudie wall lights just use water and be extra gentle, she's a little more delicate.
